FAQ

The training is at Palisades Yoga in Olympic Valley CA in the Village at Palisades Tahoe Ski Resort, or in your home virtually!

If you are flying in from out-of-town, you will fly either into Reno, NV or Sacramento, CA.  The studio is then a 45 minute drive from Reno or a 75 minute drive from Sacramento.

Not necessarily!  Once you get to the studio in Olympic Valley, there are many lodging options within walking distance of the studio.  There are shuttles that operate from the Reno airport.  There may also be ridesharing options with other students.

Bring whatever you need to be comfortable each day.  This may include:

  • a water bottle
  • a notebook
  • comfy and active clothes
  • clothes to layer

You will not need to bring your own yoga mat or other yoga supplies, but you are welcome to if you’d feel more at home.

Outside of the immersion, North Lake Tahoe (the larger area in which Olympic Valley, CA, is located) is an amazing place to explore!  In the fall, there is incredible hiking and mountain biking, or enjoy a stroll through the Village around the studio.  Beautiful Lake Tahoe is only a 15-minute drive from the studio.  The surrounding areas have great restaurants, nightlife, art galleries, and cultural exhibitions nearby.

Not at all!  This training and immersion is for both the general public and yoga teachers.  Due to the subject matter, it is perfect for those looking for deep rest, profound healing, and aligned connection to self and inner wisdom.

We might be biased, but we believe everyone can truly benefit from learning and integrating breathwork.

If you’d like to speak with us personally to find out if it’s right for you, email Jackie, our studio manager, at jworthingham@palisadestahoe.com, and we’ll be happy to chat!
